Your challenge
As a Team Lead Training Design and Delivery, you're the leader, coach, and inspiration for a team of approximately 10 highly skilled technical trainers and instructional designers as they transition from being embedded within various expert and training teams into a strong, cohesive team. Your role is to bring the team together into a high-performing unit with a clear shared purpose, seamless collaboration, and an effective, well-defined way of working. The team is mainly located in Belgium (Wommelgem) with one person in the US (Atlanta).
You Are Responsible For
* Developing a high-performing team.
* Managing and coaching your team members.
* Establishing the team's strategy, planning and prioritization.
* Further developing OMP's vision & approach for training design, creation and delivery and embedding this across the OMP organization.
* Following up on and reporting out the progress and impact of OMP's high-impact training programs.

About You
Essential talents and qualifications:
* A Master's or PhD in Learning & Development is preferred, or alternatively, a similar degree paired with equivalent expertise gained through relevant professional experience.
* Experience in defining and implementing an instructional design approach within a larger organization, including establishing processes for the creation of training materials and assessments throughout all phases of the instructional design lifecycle.
* Experienced team manager, leading a group of at least five team members.
* Strong people management and communication skills that enable you to easily connect with team members, senior managers, and stakeholders
* The capability to make well-informed decisions, using input from your team, and to effectively communicate those decisions to management and stakeholders.
* A strong willingness to learn the fundamentals of the OMP software, enabling you to communicate effectively with your team and stakeholders and to dive into technical details and content when required.

* Experience working with technical software and a strong affinity for complex systems.
* Experience working in a company that develops and produces software.
* Knowledge of supply chain concepts.
