We are looking for a skilled Calibration Coordinator to join our Instrument Repair Centre team in Belgium.This position centralizes the lifecycle of calibrated field service tools used in our diagnostics, surgical and medical imaging devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. As Calibration Coordinator you will combine your metrology knowledge, attention to detail and customer-centric mindset to deliver exceptional support to our EMEA Field Service Engineers and help maintain the highest standards of quality and safety for our products.We're looking for people with understanding of metrology and calibration standards ideally from within a medical device background who are driven to exceed customer expectations and have passion for quality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule and oversee calibration activities, utilizing metrology expertise to ensure tools meet FDA, ISO and company standards. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and approved third-party calibration vendors Act as the primary liaison for field service engineers, understanding their needs and providing timely, reliable support regarding tool availability, calibration status and technical inquiries Maintain thorough documentation for calibration certificates, service records and compliance logs. Ensure all tools adhere to regulatory requirements for medical devices (ISO 17025 and ISO13485, FDA) Generate clear, concise reports in English on tool utilization, calibration status, inventory levels and compliance metrics for management and regulatory review Maintain a centralized, up-to-date inventory of all calibrated field service tools used in medical diagnostics, surgical and imaging devices, with detailed records of tool locations, conditions and calibration schedules KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Experience in metrology, calibration coordination or field service operations ideally within a regulated medical device environment Understanding of calibration standards (ISO 17025, ISO 13485, FDA requirements, ANSI, etc.) and regulatory compliance for medical devices Practical GDP and GMP compliance skills Experience with logistics and documentation in a regulated healthcare setting will be advantageous Excellent customer focus, interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite Good level of English.
