Main tasks
* Research and interpret data from internal and external sources to identify potential stories and insights relevant to the Parliament's communication priorities.
* Propose and implement creative data-driven visual concepts for digital campaigns and institutional communication, based on briefs from topic experts and coordinators.
* Create infographics, both static and animated, optimised for different platforms and audiences.
* Develop clear, accurate, and visually engaging data stories that explain complex topics in an accessible way.
* Design adaptable templates (e.g. Canva) for use by EPLOs and multilingual teams, ensuring consistency with Parliament brand guidelines.
* Ensure accuracy, transparency, and brand alignment in all data visualisations, complying with institutional guidelines and editorial direction.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g. topic experts, analysts, content creators, and strategists) to deliver fit-for-purpose visual and journalistic outputs.
* Participate in relevant meetings, providing input on design, storytelling, and data visualisation standards.
* Maintain documentation of production processes and ensure that deliverables are properly archived and formatted for distribution.
* Respond to ad-hoc visual and creative requests, delivering timely and impactful data-driven content.

* You are experienced in creating infographics, data explainers, and animations for digital media.
* You are proactive, enthusiastic, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
* You have excellent organisational skills and can deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines.
* You are proficient in
Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
); experience with
data tools (Flourish, Tableau,
or equivalent) is an asset.
* You are proficient in English (mandatory).
