We are looking for a Senior Business Implementation Consultant with strong expertise in Fund Accounting and Fund Administration operations to support strategic fund event projects for a leading international financial institution.
The consultant will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Fund Accounting operational setup and implementation activities related to:
Fund launches
Fund migrations
Mergers
Liquidations
Prospectus changes
Operational transitions
The role requires close coordination with internal operational teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and transition into Business-As-Usual (BAU).
Key responsibilities
Fund event implementation:
Lead operational implementation activities for fund events and transitions
Coordinate fund launches, migrations, mergers, and liquidations
Ensure operational readiness across all Fund Accounting activities
Define and implement target operating models and NAV timelines
Stakeholder coordination:
Work closely with:
Fund Accounting
Transfer Agency
Custody / Depositary teams
Dealing Services
IT teams
Clients and external counterparties
Organize project meetings and follow-up actions
Ensure dependencies and risks are identified and managed
Operational oversight:
Validate operational setup and workflow readiness
Coordinate testing activities with IT and operational teams
Ensure proper documentation and client sign-off
Support smooth transition to BAU after implementation
Project & process management:
Maintain project plans, checklists, and implementation pipelines
Track deliverables and deadlines
Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
Participate in post-implementation reviews
Required experience
6-10 years of experience in:
Fund Accounting
Fund Administration
Business Implementation
Fund Migration / Transition projects
Strong knowledge of :
NAV production
UCITS / Uci / Alternative funds
Fund lifecycle and operational processes
Experience working in an international banking or asset servicing environment
Technical skills
Mandatory:
