As a Legal Counsel Private Banking, your responsibilities are: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and contracts related to private banking activities. Providing legal advice to internal stakeholders on banking regulations and compliance requirements. Monitoring legal and regulatory developments in Luxembourg and ensuring company compliance. Handling legal matters related to customer agreements, financial products, and services. Collaborating with external legal advisors when necessary. Supporting the resolution of legal disputes and addressing customer complaints. Ensuring alignment with internal policies and industry standards in financial services. Contributing to internal training sessions on legal and regulatory topics. The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Counsel Private Banking should have: A degree in law, with a focus on banking, finance, or corporate law. Proven experience (at least 5 years) in a legal role within the financial services industry. Strong knowledge of private banking laws and regulatory frameworks in Luxembourg. Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Fluency in English and French.
