Inside Sales Team Leader (French Speaker) – Porto At Nextlane, we are transforming the automotive industry with digital and SaaS solutions used by manufacturers and dealer groups across Europe. We’re now building a new Inside Sales Business Unit in Porto, and this role is key to structure, lead, and scale the team from the start. The Role As ISR Team Leader, you will lead and grow a team of Inside Sales Representatives (ISR Level 1 & Level 2) responsible for remote selling across Europe. This is a player-coach role: you lead by example, coach execution, and turn the team into a predictable revenue engine. You will: Lead, coach, and develop the ISR team Drive performance across pipeline, ARR/NRR, conversions, velocity, activity volume, and meetings Ensure excellence in inbound and outbound execution Act as the bridge between Demand Gen, Field Sales, and GTM leadership What You’ll Do Team Management & Coaching Lead, coach, and develop the team (1:1s, pipeline reviews, call listening, hands-on coaching) Ensure fast onboarding and ramp-up of new hires Coach on discovery, qualification, objection handling, and closing Build a demanding, positive, accountable performance culture Performance Management & KPIs Own results across: Activity volumes (calls, emails, sequences, meetings) Pipeline generated and managed Revenue signed (ARR / NRR) within ISR scope Optimize funnel conversion (MQL → SQL → Opportunity → Closed Won) Reduce time-to-close via prioritization and follow-up discipline Identify gaps and implement corrective action plans Process, Methodology & Execution Deploy and enforce a structured methodology ( BANT / MEDDIC-inspired ) Guarantee high-quality discovery, qualification, and deal control Improve scripts, pitches, cadences, and processes continuously Ensure excellent CRM hygiene ( Salesforce ) and data quality Contribute to building a scalable ISR operating model Anticipate inputs needed to fuel performance (targeting, lists, segmentation) Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with Demand Gen/Marketing to optimize lead quality and follow-up Align with Field Sales on scope, coverage rules, and handovers Share structured feedback on messaging, objections, ICP alignment, and market signals What You’ll Be Accountable For Team pipeline creation and coverage Revenue generated and closed by the ISR team Conversion rates across the funnel Sales velocity and efficiency CRM data quality Team engagement, development, and retention ️ What We’re Looking For Experience 2–3 years managing Inside Sales / ISR teams (ideally B2B SaaS/tech) Strong remote selling experience (inbound outbound) Background as ISR/BDR/AE is a strong plus Languages Native French Professional English Any additional European language is a plus Mindset & Skills Strong sales DNA with a true player-coach mindset Data-driven and structured (activity, pipeline, conversions, velocity) Able to coach on discovery, qualification, and closing (not just activity) Demanding but supportive leadership, high ownership and accountability Excellent written and verbal communication Tools CRM mastery (Salesforce preferred) Sales engagement tools (Lemlist or equivalent) Comfortable with dashboards, KPIs, and pipeline analysis Career Growth This role can evolve toward Senior Inside Sales Manager, Head of Inside Sales, or broader Revenue / Demand Generation leadership roles.
