We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager/Owners Representative for construction site projects with a mechanical engineering background. This position is for our client in Mons involved in Data Center projects.
Responsibilities
Email contact for subcontractors with project concerns during preconstruction
Create and establish the Master Project Schedule (P6 cost/resource loaded schedule)
Create and establish the Master Project Budget including soft and hard costs, bonds, insurance, contingencies, and allowances
Support contractor pre‐qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis, and recommendations
Support contract negotiation with the client's PM and legal counsel, establishing GC business terms such as mark‐ups, fees, insurance, labor rates, and escalation
Coordinate design team activities supporting the client PM
Manage general contractor and directly contracted vendors on the ground
Track schedules, monitoring and analysis
Document control (track and coordinate addenda, bulletins, new drawing sets, clarifications)
Ensure QA/QC is followed and report any issues or gaps
Process, track, and report invoice/payment applications
Track all key project documents, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, invoices, payments, and lien releases
Coordinate and manage all owner‐direct vendors and consultants
Qualifications
Master's degree in engineering, specifically Mechanical Engineering
Proven experience as a Project Manager on construction sites with knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, and HVAC
Fluent in English, French is a plus
Flexible; remote work is not possible due to the scope of work
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‐solving skills
Relevant certifications and qualifications (e.g., PMP, engineering degrees)
Experience with Data Centre, infrastructure, or complex projects, including Primavera P6 and Google Suite
