We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Team Leader to join our team. The maintenance team consists of technical staff responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our buildings and installations. As the team leader of this team, you will be responsible for managing the technical staff in your team and supervising external contractors. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager & Projects and, together with him, be responsible for structuring the processes within the department.
Responsibilities
* Leading the maintenance team and guiding its further development.
* Managing and planning the daily schedule of the maintenance team.
* Organising external contractors from start to finish.
* Overall management and reporting on cleanliness and waste management within the company.
* Structuring all administrative processes within the Maintenance department.
* Drawing up work procedures to ensure business continuity.
* Using and monitoring various software programmes.
* Identifying opportunities for improvement within your own role and team; detecting problems, drawing up an action plan to address them, and following this up.
Qualifications
* Some initial management experience is desirable, but if you are motivated and have the ambition to lead, please do not hesitate to apply.
* Hands‑on experience with maintenance work is an advantage in this role, but some technical aptitude and interest are essential.
* Problem‑solving skills and decisiveness to respond quickly and effectively.
* Planning and organising. You are able to maintain an overview and plan your own work efficiently.
* Digital aptitude to initiate software‑based improvements.
* Strong communication skills to engage with the entire company and external firms (proficiency in English).
* Flexibility, with a willingness to be on call outside regular hours and at weekends.
* Knowledge of 5S and ISO is an advantage.
