Based in Liège, you'll play a key technical role within an innovative and solid industrial engineering group, contributing to the design and optimization of advanced automated systems.
Your Responsibilities
* Design and program industrial automation systems using Siemens S7 / TIA Portal and Siemens / ABB variable speed drives (AC/DC).
* Define, tune, and optimize high-speed control loops (speed, traction, position) to ensure process stability, precision, and performance.
* Develop and implement functional and control architectures, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and safety standards.
* Diagnose and resolve complex automation and regulation issues, hardware and software, using real-time signal analysis and diagnostic tools.
* Actively participate in commissioning and on-site coordination, both in Belgium and abroad.
* Act as the technical reference in dynamic regulation, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
* Continuously improve and document automation solutions in synergy with senior experts.
Your Profile
* Master's or Industrial Engineering degree in Electromechanics, Automation, or equivalent.
* 5–10 years' experience in industrial automation, ideally in continuous-process or high-dynamic environments(steel, energy, manufacturing, etc.).
* Proven expertise in dynamic process control and physical system modelling.
* Mastery of Siemens S7 / TIA Portal and variable speed drives Siemens & ABB (AC/DC).
* Strong command of real-time diagnostic and signal recording tools.
* Analytical, rigorous, and curious, with a deep interest in complex physical phenomena.
* Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.
