Responsibilities

1. Contribute to shaping the future of electronic trading applications by participating in the design, development, and optimization of the platform.
2. Support the scaling and operation of a global SaaS platform in regulated industries by implementing automation, removing barriers, and connecting tools and data for maximum efficiency.
3. Collaborate closely with leadership to create exceptional tools and improve the overall experience for internal stakeholders and employees.
4. Ensure secure and reliable implementation of solutions that meet platform requirements.
5. Conduct code reviews, maintain secure CI/CD operations, and foster collaboration across units and programs within Banqup.

We are looking for candidates who have:
6. Higher education (Masters degree or Bachelors) in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge through professional experience.
7. Has full-stack experience with multiple technologies, including Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and optionally Go, and is comfortable working across front-end, back-end, and data layers.
8. Communicates effectively in English and thrives in a scaling, collaborative environment, demonstrating adaptability, a growth mindset, and a proactive approach.
9. Is passionate about software development, curious about new technologies, and shares knowledge with colleagues.
10. Takes ownership, focuses on problem-solving, and contributes to continuous improvement, while delivering autonomously when needed.
11. Proficiency with Git, Maven, and CI/CD operations including JUnit testing.
12. Hands-on experience with Java frameworks/libraries (Spring/Spring Boot) and web UI development using React.
13. Experience with RESTful web services and applying security best practices in software development.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new programming languages or technologies.
Nice to have experiences and knowledge:
14. Experience with encryption, signing, and hashing techniques.
15. Experience with container-based service development and orchestration (Kubernetes, Minikube).
16. Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Jira.
17. Knowledge of code review best practices.
18. Understanding of standards such as OAuth 2.0, REST, etc.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
