JOB DESCRIPTION
Context:
* As part of the structuring and strengthening of the Performance & Resources Management team within the Engineering & Facilities department, we are looking for an experienced Data Analyst capable of transforming large volumes of heterogeneous data into tangible levers for operational, financial and decision-making performance.
* The scope covers a portfolio of more than 250 projects (CAPEX / OPEX), with major challenges related to schedule and budget adherence, resource availability and fit, HSE & Quality compliance, as well as the reliability and consistency of management and reporting data.
Role objectives:
* The Data Analyst will support the Performance & Resources Management team in order to:
* Structure, secure and leverage existing data
* Evolve existing KPIs where needed and identify missing, yet relevant, robust and actionable KPIs
* Implement advanced and predictive analytics tools
* Identify the root causes of performance gaps
* Automate low value-added processes
* Reinforce the discipline of keeping systems up to date
* Help management anticipate needs and risks in order to avoid project, financial or capacity drifts
Technical skills:
* Excellent knowledge of SAP (Finance – CAPEX / OPEX)
* Very good knowledge of Planisware (project and resource management)
* Advanced expertise in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, data storytelling)
* Strong data analysis skills (structuring, cleansing, causal analysis)
* Proficiency in Python and/or no-code / low-code tools for automation
* Ability to work with large multi-source datasets
* Interest and understanding of AI approaches applied to operational data
Business skills:
* Good understanding of Engineering / Facilities environments
* Strong project finance background
* Awareness of Quality, HSE and regulatory compliance requirements
* (pharmaceutical industry appreciated)
* Understanding of complex, matrix project organizations and processes
