Leadership Opportunity in Electron Microscopy
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and experience in leading teams. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of electron microscopy experts and engineers, providing a service based on electron microscopy characterization and enabling predictive tool performance and availability.
You will motivate and coach your team, ensuring the best training and selection of staff. You will draw up the planning of your team, regarding commitment of team members and maintenance schedule of machines. Together with your team, you will meet current objectives and constantly seek improvements.
Your industry experience will help optimize the SEM/TEM service in an operational environment. Efficient solutions for day-to-day problems regarding resource management, tool performance, and delivering value on time are your primary focus. Your practical experience in characterization techniques is crucial to manage goals, milestones, set priorities, and ensure high-quality processes for your team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage team resources to optimally support requests from various stakeholders.
* Cross-train and develop team resources towards enhanced skill levels.
* Manage a team of hardware engineers and process aspects of several machines used for characterization of processes and materials.
* Implement and follow-up process controls to secure tool stability.
* Maintain contact with equipment suppliers.
* Monitor day-to-day activities linked to the SEM/TEM service.
* Ensure delivery of value on time towards internal and external customers.
* Identify, initiate, and implement operational efficiency improvements.
