Functional Analyst – SAP Finance & Controlling

Location: Seraing, Belgium (Hybrid)
Overview
We need an experienced SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst to act as a finance domain expert, supporting a complex SAP landscape while contributing to strategic initiatives including an SAP S/4HANA transformation.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the functional reference for SAP Finance & Controlling across a multi‑entity, multi‑country SAP environment
* Provide operational support, training, and coaching to key users and end users
* Configure, maintain, and document SAP FI/CO processes and technical set‑ups
* Manage user roles and authorisations within SAP
* Lead and contribute to SAP rollouts, new implementations, and system evolution projects
* Translate business requirements into functional blueprints and technical designs
* Support testing, data migration, deployment, and end‑user training activities
* Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, including offshore teams
Must‑Have Skills
* Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP FI/CO, including FI‑AA, CO‑CCA, and CO‑PCA
* Minimum 8 years’ experience as an SAP Functional Analyst
* Solid understanding of financial and controlling processes
* Experience working in large, complex SAP landscapes
* Fluent English (French is a strong advantage)
Nice‑to‑Have
* SAP S/4HANA project experience
* Knowledge of SAP PS or other SAP modules
* Experience with Jira and Confluence
* Background in industrial or engineering environments
