An international medical device organisation is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial strategy and drive market growth across the region. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for building, coaching, and motivating high-performing sales professionals and distributors while achieving and exceeding national revenue targets.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a critical role in shaping regional strategy, strengthening key customer relationships, and expanding market share through effective team leadership, commercial execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, recruit, develop, and coach field-based Business Development Managers, Sales Representatives, and Clinical Specialists across your region
* Drive achievement of regional sales targets through strong leadership, performance management, and execution excellence
* Develop and implement regional business and go-to-market strategies based on market analysis and commercial insights
* Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities while managing competitive threats
* Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and clinical decision-makers
* Directly manage selected strategic key accounts
* Negotiate pricing agreements and manage commercial contracts with customers
* Coordinate internal resources across Marketing, Medical Education, Commercial, Operations, and Senior Management to support regional goals
* Manage company assets, inventory, and compliance with internal policies
* Monitor market trends, analyse performance data, and adapt strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth
Skills & Experience
* Proven sales leadership or sales management experience within medical devices or healthcare
* Minimum 5 years' experience in medical device or medical products sales
* Strong track record of leading, motivating, and developing teams to achieve commercial objectives
* Expertise in commercial management, including pricing strategies and contract negotiations
* Strategic mindset with strong analytical and business planning skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Bachelor's degree (required)
* Fluent in English, Dutch and French
* Valid driver's licence
* Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geography. Travel Region covers Belgium, Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain & Slovakia
