Job Description:
Field Installation Technician - Tires as a Service (TaaS)
The Field Installation Technician - TaaS will plan, coordinate, and execute the hardware installations on vehicles of TaaS clients. The incumbent will assure quality of all installations, following the installation playbook and standards.
This position will also be responsible for training service providers on sensor and telematic installations. The technician will supervise their work when the installation is outsourced. Additionally, this role will manage the receipt, storage, and registration/scanning of TaaS hardware equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver TaaS hardware installation objectives against pre-defined plans in assigned geographies.
* Ccoordinate installation schedules with Fleet Manager and workshops.
* Prepare hardware for installation.
* Cordinate hardware troubleshooting activities with Customer Service Delivery team.
* Execute maintenance activities in the field.
* Contribute to the development of installation training materials.
* Deliver installation training and obtain certifications for Electronic Braking Systems.
* Quality and count control at hardware equipment receipt.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical and electrical installation/repair work.
* A strong technical background and experience with planning and scheduling.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (desired).
* Self-driven, persistent, and a team player.
* Basic information technology skills.
* Fluency in English and local language.
* Open to travel up to 3-4 days per week.
