Job Description
Become part of the Chief Business Office for European Securities and Settlement, taking on a high‑impact role similar to that of a chief of staff.
You will run the governance engine, coordinate cross‑functional delivery, and produce decision‑ready content for senior forums (ExCo/Board) in line with Euroclear's governance standards.
What you'll do
* Governance excellence: Own the end‑to‑end preparation of ExCo/Board papers, decision memos and CEO/Group presentations; ensure outputs are clear, concise and actionable.
* Business analysis & judgment: Apply strong business acumen to connect markets, clients, products and competition; frame choices, quantify impacts and recommend the way forward.
* Cross‑functional coordination: Drive follow‑through across product, strategy, marketing, commercial and operations; track priorities and risks and keep deliverables moving.
* Strategic transformation: Contribute analysis and materials for market‑modernisation initiatives, including tokenisation/DLT programmes such as Pythagore.
Who you are (mindset & working style)
We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset:
* 7± years in strategy/governance or cross‑functional execution, with demonstrable business acumen and senior‑stakeholder exposure.
* Financial‑markets experience strongly preferred (e.g., securities services/CSDs, market infrastructure, investment banking, or consulting focused on capital markets).
* Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to produce concise, consulting‑grade narratives and slides that stand on their own.
* Fluency in French, Dutch and English, with the ability to craft executive‑level content in all three.
* Self‑starter who takes ownership, anticipates needs and drives topics without waiting for instruction.
* Entrepreneurial and resourceful, comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating structure where needed.
* Analytical problem‑solver able to break down complex issues and synthesise insights clearly.
* Excellent command of PowerPoint, Excel and Word, able to produce polished materials at speed.
* Fluent Copilot/AI user, leveraging digital tools naturally to accelerate output and enhance quality.
* Strong interest in AI, digital transformation and how technology reshapes market infrastructures.
* Client‑centric by default, ensuring every deliverable aligns with internal stakeholders and ultimately has a positive impact on our end clients.
* Works with urgency, precision and professionalism, especially under senior‑stakeholder pressure.
What’s in it for you
* A platform to shape senior decisions and see your work land at ExCo/Board level.
* Exposure to cutting‑edge topics (DLT/tokenisation) in a leading European market‑infrastructure group.
* You will join a fast‑evolving environment, with the opportunity not only to adapt to change, but also to actively shape it and accelerate it.
What We Offer
* Work closely with inspiring, supportive and engaged colleagues from more than 80 different countries.
* Practice your talents in a highly professional international environment.
* Join a learning and development environment with an emphasis on knowledge sharing and training.
* Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
