HR Generalist
Location: Zaventem, Belgium (Hybrid)
Reports to: Chief People Officer
About the Role
We are seeking a hands‑on HR Generalist who can balance day‑to‑day operational HR delivery with group‑wide HR projects across 18 countries. This role is ideal for someone who brings structure, clarity, and consistency to complex environments and enjoys working across multiple jurisdictions.
You will support managers with practical HR guidance, strengthen governance, and help build a simplified, aligned HR operating model across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
* Multi‑country HR support - Provide day‑to‑day HR guidance on performance, conduct, capability, absence, and general employee lifecycle matters.
* Employee relations coaching - Support managers in handling ER cases fairly, consistently, and in line with local legislation.
* Group HR project delivery - Contribute to initiatives that improve consistency, governance, and organisational clarity.
* HR governance and compliance - Support audits, due diligence, and alignment with local employment law.
* Process improvement - Identify inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable HR solutions.
* Stakeholder coordination - Act as a central point of contact between Group HR and local markets.
* HR data accuracy - Ensure employee data is accurate, reliable, and maintained to a high standard.
What You Bring
* 4–7 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
* Experience working across multiple countries or jurisdictions (preferred)
* Strong understanding of employment law relevant to the countries you support
* Experience in HR projects, policy development, or standardisation
* CIPD Level 5, Master’s, or equivalent (preferred)
* Excellent English language skills - strong written, spoken, and reading ability
* Proficiency in Dutch - able to communicate effectively with Dutch‑speaking stakeholders
* A structured, pragmatic, detail‑oriented approach to HR delivery
