We are currently hiring a
Warehouse Assistant
reporting to our Workshop Coordinator in Deinze.
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role involves picking, receiving, and shipping orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Your tasks:
1. Receiving: Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Verify and record received items against purchase orders. Organize and store received goods in designated areas.
2. Picking: Accurately pick items from stock based on order specifications. Use scanners and inventory management systems to track items. Ensure picked items are correctly labelled
3. Shipping: Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring proper labelling and documentation. Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely dispatch. Maintain records of outgoing shipments and update inventory systems.
4. General Duties: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks.
What you bring with you :
5. Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant or similar role.
6. Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory systems.
7. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
8. Physical stamina to handle heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
9. Team worker
10. Punctuality and accuracy, sense of responsibility
11. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
12. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
13. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
14. Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory. Other languages are an asset.
Our local team consists of approximately 85 employees who work in the high-tech production in the areas of Research & Development, project engineering and manufacturing (AutoJet) or in the area of Global IT, European Finance and Human Resources (Spraying Systems Europe). The European team cooperates with approximately 20 countries.

We produce spray solutions for the European market and on request also for other Spraying Systems locations in the EMEA region. This mainly concerns the automation of spraying systems to control and monitor various spraying applications. In addition, we also develop the electronics that are used worldwide to drive the nozzles.
