Sanofi Global MSAT (Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics and Technology) acts as a crucial link between R&D and Manufacturing facilities, playing a vital role in securing the current portfolio and delivering future launches of high-quality, innovative drugs and vaccines. The team drives transformation by providing day-to-day manufacturing support, focusing on technical and process aspects, lifecycle management, process robustness, and yield improvement to optimize performance.
The MSAT Process Data Science & Digital Transformation team (MSAT DSD) aims for operational excellence in process development, optimization, and sustainability through a data-driven organization. As a part of this team, the MSAT DSD Recombinant Platform accelerates digital transformation for the recombinant drug substance platform, supporting current and new product launches with data science and digital innovations.
Reporting to the Head of Immunology Cluster within the MSAT DSD Recombinant Platform, the Data Scientist will provide statistical support to internal customers: MSAT USP (UpStream), MSAT DSP (DownStream), and MSAT Analytics. The role involves collaboration with other MSAT DSD members for harmonization and improvements.
Main Responsibilities
* Implement statistical methodologies for protocols.
* Conduct statistical analyses and prepare reports.
* Write statistical procedures and instructions.
* Explain statistical results to customers, ensuring clarity.
* Provide education on data science and statistics.
* Support responses to health authorities with statistical data.
* Monitor and implement innovative statistical methods.
About You
* Master’s Degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics with at least 5 years of industrial statistics experience.
* Fluent in English; French is a plus.
* Rigorous, dynamic, and pedagogical.
* Strong knowledge in statistics, including SPC, CPV, sample size studies, comparability, prediction intervals, population comparisons, multivariate analyses, machine learning, modelization, validation, design of experiments, Bayesian statistics, and more.
* Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as JMP, SIMCA, Modde, Design Expert, PASS, R, Python.
* Willingness to travel occasionally to other Sanofi immunology sites.
