Procurement Manager / Commercial Procurement Lead – Life Sciences Capital ProjectsWe are partnering with a leading engineering and project delivery organisation to recruit a Procurement Manager / Commercial Procurement Lead supporting the delivery of major life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.This role will play a key part in managing the commercial procurement strategy across complex capital projects, ensuring robust tendering processes, effective supplier negotiations, and strong supply chain risk management. Procurement represents a significant portion of project spend within EPCM environments, making this a highly visible and commercially impactful role.You will work closely with engineering, project management, and commercial teams to ensure supplier selection, contract awards, and procurement strategies align with project cost, quality, and delivery objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead procurement strategy across life sciences capital projectsManage tendering processes, including bid evaluation and supplier selectionConduct commercial assessments of vendor proposals and provide contract award recommendationsLead negotiations to secure competitive commercial and contractual termsManage supplier relationships and support long-term supply chain strategyIdentify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risksCollaborate with engineering and project teams to support project deliveryExperience RequiredProcurement experience within life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environmentsExperience supporting capital projects, facility builds, or EPCM/EPC delivery modelsStrong background in tendering, commercial bid evaluation, and supplier negotiationsAbility to manage complex supplier contracts and procurement riskStrong stakeholder engagement skills within cross-functional project teamsThis is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of major pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing facilities within a collaborative engineering and project environment.
