The Role
:
An AI Lead in the telecommunications industry is responsible for driving the strategic direction of AI-based projects, managing the AI team, overseeing research and development initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of scalable AI solutions aligned with business goals. Key responsibilities include:
1. Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the AI research and development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
2. AI Strategy Development: Develop and implement AI strategies that support business objectives and drive innovation in telecommunications.
3. Project Oversight: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI models and algorithms tailored to telecommunications applications.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into telecommunications products and services.
5. Trend Monitoring: Monitor and analyze AI trends specific to the telecommunications industry to ensure the company remains at the forefront of technology.
6. Scalability and Efficiency: Ensure scalability and efficiency in AI model deployment to handle large-scale telecommunications data.
7. Mentorship: Mentor team members and foster a collaborative working environment.
8. Data Privacy and Security: Ensure data privacy and implement measures to secure sensitive telecommunications information
Qualifications:
· Education:
o Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
· Experience:
o Proven experience in managing AI projects and leading technical teams, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
· Technical Skills:
o In-depth knowledge of AI, machine learning, deep learning techniques, and data science concepts. Leadership experience: At least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role, guiding teams and projects.

3. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
