Job Title: Design Coordinator Role
About the Job:
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely execution of designs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct technical problem analysis to meet specific project requirements
* Evaluate materials from suppliers and ensure compliance with project specifications
* Review designs, calculations, and drawings from colleagues, subcontractors, and clients
* Convvince stakeholders of the safety and feasibility of proposed solutions
* Report on project progress, highlighting any risks related to budget or timeline
* Support continuous improvement in design processes
* Coordinate design execution with suppliers and follow up with study bureaus
Requirements:
* 3 to 6 years of experience in design coordination or project management
* Master's degree or equivalent through experience
* Familiarity with European building norms and regulations
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Effective communicator, patient, and open to feedback
* Prior experience in a study bureau is advantageous
* Fluent in Dutch with good English; French is a plus
