What success looks like in this role:
We’re looking for a motivated Network/Security Specialist with a strong focus on networking to help deliver security projects, including large-scale encryption networks. You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle—designing, testing, deploying, and troubleshooting solutions—while advising clients on security matters.
This role requires regular onsite presence at our Diegem office/lab, the ability to work independently, and a strong interest in networking and security.

Key Responsibilities
Network and security analysis
o Review of network and security capabilities
o Assess/analyse security posture
o Detailed analysis of data flows and processes
System administration
o Create Proof-of-Concept environments
Setup and administration of lab environment
Day-to-day operation of the lab environment
Troubleshooting
o Automation
Automation of security infrastructure testing
Automation of Staging / Pre-Provisioning
o Testing
Testing and troubleshooting of new equipment
Validation of operational procedures / manuals
o Roll-out of solutions (Staging / Pre-Provisioning / Deployment)
o Assist, implement and guide migration to new solutions
o Higher level support for migrations and delivered solutions
Documentation
o Create and maintain operational procedures and manuals
o Report drafting (activity report, test report…)
o Issue tracking and follow-up with vendors and partners
Assists with move execution, adds and changes to security tools and platforms.
Assists with transitions, implementations, and migrations.
Gathering, analysis and management of requirements (legal/business/technical)
You will be successful in this role if you have:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science, combined with relevant professional experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is considered an asset.
3. Must be prepared to work onsite at the office/lab in Diegem for multiple days per week
4. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
5. Knowledge of computer networking and network security
6. Some experience with network infrastructure deployment and maintenance is a plus
7. Experience with Linux (CLI and network configuration)
8. Familiarity with automation tools (such as Ansible) and scripting languages (like bash or python) is an advantage
