Role Overview We are seeking an experienced FREELANCE Slaughterhouse Supervisor / QA Manager to oversee food quality, hygiene, and operational compliance in a regulated slaughterhouse environment. In this role, you will lead quality assurance activities, supervise operational processes, and ensure compliance with food safety standards while managing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities Oversee slaughterhouse operations and staff, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations Implement and monitor food quality control procedures and SOPs Conduct audits and inspections in line with local and EU food safety regulations Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes Manage documentation, including quality records, reports, and corrective actions Support HACCP, GMP, and other food safety compliance programs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and compliance

Key Requirements Minimum
5–7 years
of experience in food quality, QA, or slaughterhouse supervision/management Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene, and compliance (HACCP, GMP, local regulations) Proven experience in supervising operational teams in a food production or slaughterhouse environment Experience in quality audits, inspections, and corrective action management Strong document review and approval skills, with meticulous attention to detail Languages:
Dutch (mandatory), English (required), French (a plus) Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
