As a Freelance Procurement 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 your responsibilities are:
* Lead and deliver strategic procurement projects linked to growth initiatives (e.g. new site development, Capex investments, supplier selection)
* Manage end-to-end procurement processes across multiple categories (manufacturing, logistics, services, finished goods)
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders (operations, marketing, finance, IT) to define needs and drive sourcing strategies
* Handle supplier management: performance follow-up, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
* Lead RFQs, contract negotiations, and supplier onboarding processes
* Manage procurement of Capex and industrial equipment across European manufacturing sites
* Source finished products from international suppliers and ensure continuity of supply
* Contribute to procurement of value-added services (e.g. IT systems, CRM, logistics providers)
* Perform market analysis and data-driven insights to support long-term procurement strategies
* Ensure compliance with quality standards and sustainability initiatives (ISO, ESG, supplier management systems)
A successful Freelance Procurement 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 should have:
* Experience in procurement or sourcing within an international industrial or healthcare environment
* Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and simplify complex topics
* Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement processes and strategic projects
* Experience with CAPEX, manufacturing, or technical procurement is a strong asset
* Skilled negotiator with experience in supplier management and contract discussions
* Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making
* Autonomous, proactive, and able to operate in a lean, high-responsibility environment
* Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple departments and regions
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
