Role Overview
You'll be part of our Architecture team, focusing on the payment application landscape. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to solution designs that balance business and technical objectives, ensuring alignment with our long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather comprehensive requirements from stakeholders, encompassing user, technical, and performance specifications.
* Develop unified solution designs that champion architectural proposals and strive for excellence in fulfilling stakeholder needs.
* Provide leadership and expertise throughout project execution, ensuring proposed solutions align with technology strategy and corporate governance standards.
* Cultivate thorough documentation, guaranteeing it reflects active operations and is readily understandable to stakeholders.
Requirements
* Analyze complex large-scale applications independently to extract architectural insights and assess design quality.
* Experience in architectural design patterns, MicroServices architecture, and creating system architectures that are scalable, resilient, and aligned with business needs.
* Identify, quantify, and strategize the reduction of technical debt.
* Track record in reliability engineering & performance optimization.
* Understanding of security best practices, cloud computing platforms, infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
* Awareness of asynchronous communication mechanisms like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
* Familiarity with IAM frameworks like ForgeRock, Oracle, and PostgreSQL/Enterprisedb from an architectural perspective.
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical people and work with various departments to understand their needs and constraints.
