What You’ll Do:
As a Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in building a scalable, reliable, and future-proof finance function. You will turn financial insights into actionable strategies and continuously improve processes. You’ll support multiple business units and report directly to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate monthly closings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data.
* Review the accounting of various operational entities and holdings and ensure proper consolidation.
* Support day-to-day finance operations and deliver timely, accurate reporting to management.
* Maintain and enhance dashboards and reporting tools, particularly in Power BI, aligned with accounting data.
* Support budgeting and forecasting, performing monthly margin and variance analyses.
* Engage proactively with business stakeholders and participate in business reviews.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and uphold high-quality accounting and administrative processes.
* Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and maintain data integrity.
* Coordinate external audits and prepare annual financial statements and corporate tax filings.
* Contribute to process improvements and digitalization projects for greater efficiency.

Who You Are:
* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance role.
* Strong accounting foundation with a passion for analysis and reporting.
* Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and consolidation.
* Solid knowledge of financial statements and corporate tax.
* Experienced in Power BI and advanced Excel.
* Analytical, detail-oriented, and quick to spot discrepancies.
* Proactive, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communicator and team player, able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Fluent in English and Dutch.
* Experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Business Central, is a plus.
