For our planning team in Tielt, we are looking for a Planning Coordinator who will operationally contribute to the mid- and short-term planning of one of our product groups.
Your responsibilities
Within a team of production planners and a well-established supply chain organization, you are responsible for the mid- and short-term planning of one or more product groups, ensuring optimal output while taking available resources into account.
You assess supply and demand by maintaining close contact with various departments, aligning production planning with business and customer needs. You oversee material requirements planning for raw materials and auxiliaries, and you use production capacity as efficiently as possible to ensure the most cost-effective approach.
You are responsible for the optimal management of production-related data such as inventory levels and service levels.
You act as a key link between customer service, sales, production, and quality.
You report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree.
You have experience in a manufacturing environment or a strong interest in working in one.
You are pragmatic and analytically strong.
You communicate fluently and enjoy being present on the production floor.
