We are looking for a Construction PIM to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the effective management of asset information throughout their lifecycle. This role requires strategic planning, system implementation, system administration, compliance, and training related to information workflows and asset tagging.
Responsibilities
Lead the Information Management team in construction, overseeing the integration and management of information from a variety of sources throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead the construction team in implementing the tagging strategy and procedures specific to the project, ensuring they are consistently applied and effectively governed across the project.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings and monitor/report on progress.
Support all verification activities so they are properly planned and executed according to customer needs and timelines.
Analyse and present information in project group meetings, utilizing data to support project planning, sequencing and forecasting for the construction phase.
Liaise with the Design Information Management team to ensure an efficient transition of data to the Construction team that will enhance project delivery efficiency and quality.
Ensure the asset tagging system integrates seamlessly with other relevant systems, such as inventory management, maintenance management (CMMS), and financial software.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies related to asset tracking and management.
Conduct periodic physical audits to verify the accuracy of asset records, identify missing or misplaced asset information, and ensure data integrity.
Train team members on the importance of asset tagging, proper tag handling, and how to use the asset management system.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices in project execution and quality assurance.
Qualifications
A Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering, Information Systems
Proven experience in asset management or a similar role.
Strong understanding of asset tagging structures.
Proficiency in construction management systems and databases, such as EIDA, PIMS etc.
At least 5 years experience as a Project Information Manager.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to asset management.
Other:

Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills., both written and verbal.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
