We are recruiting a Validation Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the Walloon Region, Belgium. As the Validation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the qualification and validation of laboratory equipment.
This is an initial misison until the end of May but with budget approved for an extension until the end of 2026.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Validation Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Validation Engineer, you will provide support as a Qualification Specialist and defining the qualification strategy for laboratory equipment.
2. As the Validation Engineer, you will draft, review, and verify qualification documents in accordance with procedures and ensuring compliance with current requirements.
3. As the Validation Engineer, you will participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT) and equipment commissioning, including occasional travel.
4. As the Validation Engineer, you will support or leading continuous improvement activities and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal safety rules.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Valdiation Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
2. Proven industry experience in qualification and validation of laboratory equipment (NMR, electrophoresis, UV-Vis spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, qPCR, MALDI-TOF)
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with laboratory equipment.
