Within Akkodis we are looking for a Project engineer packaging for one of our clients in the region of Puurs. Our client is a global biotechnology company dedicated to treating, and one day curing, life-threatening diseases. Job Purpose: As a Project Engineer Packaging, you will be responsible for the procurement, installation, and commissioning of pharmaceutical packaging machines to support the growth of the company. The scope includes packaging processes starting from the labeling of sterile components to cartoning, including automation and integration with higher-level systems. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Execute packaging projects, focusing on labeling to cartoning processes. Write specifications, evaluate vendor proposals, follow up with suppliers, test machines, ensure smooth startup, and facilitate the handover to production and maintenance. Collaboration: Work closely with the Production, Packaging Design, Maintenance, Component Group, and Quality departments. Matrix Structure: For larger projects, work under a Project Lead, and for smaller projects, act as the project leader. Documentation: Ensure all project activities are well-documented, including the formal handover to production and maintenance. Business Industry Life sciences Profile Qualifications: Must: Education: Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences, Bio-engineering, or related fields. Skills: Organized and accurate in project management. Fluent in Dutch and English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
