Overview
For an European institution in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for a hybrid Enterprise Architect. Candidates need to be based in Belgium or willing to relocate to Brussels when coming from abroad. Candidates need to be fluent in English. A work permit is required, but not provided. This position is open for contractors. Responsibilities
Manage the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs, acquiring and using the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality; Prepare and maintain project and quality plans, tracking activities against the plan and providing regular and accurate reports; Manage the change control procedure, gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors; Create, maintain, prioritize, and sequence the product backlog based on business value and return on investment; Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with users; Collaborate with Business Owners and Users to collect requirements and use cases; Analyze and develop the integration of different information systems; Create business architecture models that align with organization’s strategies and goals; Provide guidance on business architecture and systems processing; Profile / Qualifications
Master’s Degree in IT; +13 years of experience in IT; Good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies such as PM2 and Agile; Solid knowledge and understanding of Business analysis and functional analysis; Proficiency in Business Process Modelling and UML; Strong knowledge of secure application design and development; Experience with frameworks; Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web services (WSDL, SOAP, REST, etc.); Familiarity with Front-end frameworks: Grails, Angular, JQuery, Bootstrap or similar; Experience with Continuous integration: Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Bamboo, Fisheye, Crucible, JUnit or similar; Job details
