Ansell is looking for a Senior Manager Global Category Manager APS – Chemical Protection to join our team in UK, Remote or in Brussels, Belgium.
In this position, you will own and lead the global product portfolio for Chemical Protection within the APS segment, including Gas Tight Suits, Diving Suits, and OEM Hoods. You will be responsible for defining and activating customer‑focused portfolio growth strategies aligned with the Chemical BU long‑range plan, while serving as the global product, technical, and market authority for your category.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Own and lead the global category strategy for Gas Tight Suits, Diving Suits, and OEM Hoods, including portfolio growth, positioning, pricing, and competitiveness
* Define and activate customer‑focused portfolio strategies aligned with the Chemical BU long‑range plan
* Drive global product lifecycle management, including NPD, improvements, rationalization, and phase‑out decisions
* Lead cross‑functional collaboration across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, Sales, and Regional Category Management
* Serve as the global subject matter expert and primary contact for assigned product categories
* Monitor sales performance, pricing, market dynamics, and competition, act on insights with regional teams
* Provide strategic direction and governance for New Product Development and NPS initiatives
* Ensure compliance with global technical, regulatory, quality, and certification requirements
* Lead competitive benchmarking and cost‑competitiveness initiatives
* Support technical product guidance for regional teams and key customers, including complex issue resolution
* Contribute to product validation, wearer trials, and continuous improvement activities
* Participate in Sales & Operations Planning and coordinate IP and trademark activities with Legal
KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
* Bachelor’s degree (Marketing or related field preferred)
* MBA will be highly desirable
Experience
* 7–10 years of experience in Global Category / Product Management, Sales, Marketing, or R&D
* Proven success in B2B and B2C environments within a global, matrix organization
* Strong experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and New Product Development
* PPE or Health & Safety industry experience is an advantage
Knowledge & Skills
* Strong business, financial, and commercial acumen
* Excellent project management capabilities
* Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Fluent English; additional languages a plus
