1. Senior Technician Test Centers
The Senior Technician is responsible for the technical operation, maintenance, and continuous professionalization of the test installations within the Test Center.
Technical management and operational support
* Organizing and performing maintenance and calibration activities on test installations to ensure reliable and continuous operation.
* Preparing tests (installations, products, and auxiliary equipment) and coordinating disassembly and cleaning activities after test completion.
* Ensuring a safe and compliant working environment, with particular attention to cleanroom activities.
* Providing operational support to (Senior) Process Specialists during tests by independently operating the installations, allowing them to focus on process-related activities.
* Technically supervising the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Administration and logistics
* Creating, maintaining, and managing maintenance and calibration logbooks per machine.
* Reporting to management, including periodic and annual technical reports.
* Preparing spare parts lists and maintenance records.
* Responsible for inventory management of products, consumables, and spare parts, including regular reconciliation between physical stock and SAP records.
* Following up on purchasing activities, including orders, delivery times, and outstanding items.
* Ensuring the availability and reliability of utilities (such as power, compressed air, and vacuum) and liaising with suppliers in case of disruptions or issues.
Coordination and collaboration
* Coordinating with external cleaning partners for the preparation and cleaning of installations and systems.
* Providing feedback to other departments on technical findings and user experience with new and existing equipment (e.g. maintenance accessibility and serviceability).
* Preparing rental equipment in collaboration with Process Specialists, including documentation, cleaning, and shipment.
Technological focus
* The primary focus of this role is on batch granulation equipment.
* In collaboration with colleagues, providing backup support for other technologies during vacations or absences.
2. Internal Project Manager – Capital Investments
This role also includes the local management of selected capital investment projects within the Test Centers in Wommelgem and Halle, in close collaboration with the Director of Process Specialists and other stakeholders.
Project coordination
* Collaborating with the central project management team on local installation requirements.
* Coordinating local suppliers and ordering required components.
* Organizing and supervising local installations in cooperation with internal teams and external contractors.
* Actively monitoring project progress, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
* Executing and coordinating internal testing after project completion.
* Integrating new equipment into existing maintenance, calibration plans, and logbooks.

* Strong technical expertise in batch granulation equipment.
* Excellent communication skills, both internally and during technical trials with external stakeholders.
