Responsibilities:
Strategic Development & Planning:
1. Define and implement the Shopper Marketing strategy for the Elanco Pet Health product portfolio in Benelux, aligning it with brand and commercial objectives.
2. Identify key insights into the purchasing behaviors of pet owners across various channels (mainly pharmacies, pet shops).
3. Collaborate closely with Brand Managers and International Shopper Marketing Lead to translate brand strategies into effective in-store activation plans.
Execution & Program Management:
4. Develop and implement Shopper Marketing & Category Management programs, promotions, Point of Sale (POS) materials, planograms, detailers, displays, and in-store activities for pharmacy and pet shop channels, in collaboration with Marketing and Sales/KAM.
5. Coordinate the development, production and distribution of in-store marketing materials, ensuring quality and consistency with brand image.
6. Supporting the brand manager in the coordination of the Shopper Marketing budget, monitoring expenditures and optimizing resource allocation.
Analysis & Optimization:
7. Monitor and analyze the performance of Shopper Marketing/Category Management activities (, sell-out data, visibility, ROI of promotions).
8. Utilize data to identify improvement opportunities and optimize future strategies.
9. Conduct specific market research on shopper behavior and retail excellence to refine tactics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
10. Work closely with Sales teams (Sales Managers, Field Force) to ensure effective implementation of programs at the point of sale and gather field feedback.
11. Collaborate with the Marketing team (Brand Managers, Digital/Ecommerce Marketing) to ensure integration of online and offline campaigns.
12. Liaise with external agencies (creative, production, research) for the development and execution of projects.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
13. Fluent in Dutch and English, good level of French (comprehension).
14. Bachelor's degree required (and Master degree is an asset).
15. Prior experience in Shopper Marketing or Trade Marketing, preferably within the Pet Industry, FMCG, consumer health.
16. Good attitude: ability to work proactively, independently and collaboratively in a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
17. Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Additional information:
Travel: Approx. 20%, mainly in Benelux.
