As Product Manager at our private brands department, you will define and execute the brand strategy for one of our private brands in active lifestyle.
Brand & Assortment Strategy
* Define the brand assortment with national buying teams, covering product types, technical specs, pricing architecture, margin targets and fabric choices.
* Consolidate national budgets into a group-level assortment and pricing strategy.
* Align products with market trends (simple living, intentional value, purposeful play, outdoor roots), balancing lifestyle and functionality.
Product development & Innovation
* Lead product development with designers and suppliers, using market insights and consumer trends.
* Integrate multifunctional design, sustainable materials and strong aesthetics to meet lifestyle and performance needs.
Supplier Sourcing & Compliance
* Build a European and Far East sourcing strategy from scratch, onboarding SHE-compliant suppliers signing the Code of Conduct.
* Assess suppliers on innovation, quality, price-performance, delivery reliability and sustainability.
* Negotiate open-cost models to optimize margins and pricing.
Operational & Financial Management
* Manage orders, MOQs, timelines and sample approvals.
* Coordinate customs and payment terms with finance.
* Monitor ROI and margin performance versus A-brands.
* Lead price negotiations and manage markdowns to secure optimal margins.
Brand Identity & Marketing
* Protect brand identity with the brand marketeer.
* Coordinate product content for web, seasonal pages and photo shoots.
* Align pricing and promotions across countries and retail brands.
Quality assurance & continuous improvement
* Implement strict quality controls and track warranty claims as KPIs.
* Collect store and consumer feedback to refine assortment and improve performance.
