Job Description
As a Legal Counsel - Commercial & Compliance, your responsibilities are:
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
* Ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks.
* Providing legal advice on commercial transactions and compliance matters.
* Collaborating with internal teams to implement compliance policies and procedures.
* Managing and mitigating legal risks across various business operations.
* Monitoring changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
* Supporting the resolution of legal disputes and claims.
* Delivering training and guidance on compliance-related topics to internal stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Counsel - Commercial & Compliance should have:
* A degree in Law, with a focus on commercial or compliance law being an advantage.
* Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
* Comprehensive knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex legal issues.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
* An ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Professional proficiency in English and Dutch
