About Our Client
Our client is a leading European wholesale and distribution group in the apparel sector, headquartered in Belgium, operating across multiple brands and geographies. They are currently in a growth phase, recently expanding via a strategic acquisition to strengthen their footprint in the promotional garments / wholesale market.
Job Description
* Define and implement a group‑wide IT strategy aligned with business growth and shareholder goals.
* Establish governance, standards and best practices for IT across multiple countries and business units.
* Partner with the CFO, executive leadership and business stakeholders to maximise the contribution of IT to profitability and operational excellence.
* Oversee IT operations ensuring the infrastructure, ERP/CRM, digital platforms are secure, reliable and scalable.
* Lead the centralisation and harmonisation of systems (ERP, CRM, infrastructure, digital platforms) across the group.
* Strengthen cybersecurity, compliance and data management frameworks across jurisdictions.
* Define and monitor KPIs to drive transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
* Lead, inspire and grow international IT teams, fostering a high‑performance culture of ownership, accountability and innovation.
* Drive digital transformation initiatives: automation, AI, data‑driven solutions, customer experience improvement and operational streamlining.
* Ensure IT systems and architectures are designed for agility, scalability and future growth.
The Successful Applicant
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business IT (or equivalent).
* At least 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership, ideally at group / international level and across multi‑entity environments.
* Proven track record of IT integrations, digital transformation and managing complex multi‑country IT ecosystems.
* Deep hands‑on expertise in ERP, infrastructure, cybersecurity, business systems and IT governance.
* Exceptional leadership skills - experience guiding cross‑functional, multicultural teams.
* Strong strategic execution capability: defining roadmaps and delivering on day‑to‑day operational excellence.
* High business acumen: able to translate IT initiatives into value for customers, employees and shareholders.
* Change‑management skills: leading transformation, navigating complexity, encouraging innovation.
* Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory), German highly valued; French or other EU languages are an asset.
