This role focuses on supporting Quality Control (QC) laboratory activities within a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring the timely testing and release of raw materials and culture media. The position involves performing physico-chemical and microbiological analyses, sterility and endotoxin testing, and maintaining laboratory operations in compliance with quality standards. The candidate will contribute to routine QC operations, investigations, and continuous improvement of quality systems, working with a high level of accuracy and autonomy in a lab-based setting.
Non-Negotiable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a QC technician role
• Hands-on experience with physico-chemical testing of raw materials and culture media
• Strong experience in microbiological testing (including bacteria identification, Gram staining, Vitek, etc.)
• Experience with sterility testing and endotoxin assays
• Experience with cell culture techniques
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment (preferred/strong plus)
• Experience in sampling, testing, and release of raw materials
• Experience recording, reviewing, and documenting analytical results
• Ability to work independently in a laboratory environment
Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
• Experience with water sampling and analysis in production environments
• Experience monitoring cleanroom or laboratory environments
• Familiarity with deviation handling and investigation support
• Experience contributing to QC procedures and documentation updates
• Experience managing laboratory consumables and small equipment
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Fluent French (written and spoken)
Practicalities
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: 8 months from the start date, with a high likelihood of extension
• Location: On-site (5 days per week)
