With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, the company supplies premium frozen bakery products to major retailers and food service customers across Europe.
As production capacity has expanded significantly in recent years, the organization is now entering a new phase focused on operational excellence, process stability, and waste reduction.
To support this ambition, we are looking for a Process Engineering Manager – Continuous Improvement who will play a key role in improving manufacturing performance and driving Lean initiatives across the site.
Your Responsibilities

Lead the Process Engineering Team
* Lead and coach two Process Engineers, supporting their development and challenging their technical analyses.
* Foster a culture of structured problem solving, ownership, and continuous improvement.
* Act as a technical sparring partner for engineers and production teams.
Drive Continuous Improvement & Lean Projects
* Identify improvement opportunities across the production environment with a strong focus on waste reduction and operational efficiency.
* Lead Lean and continuous improvement projects across production, packaging, and logistics.
* Introduce and implement Lean methodologies and structured improvement practices.
* Manage site-wide improvement projects involving production, engineering, quality, and supply chain.
* Prepare improvement proposals and business cases for management.
Build Structure and Operational Stability
* Conduct structured process audits and identify key improvement opportunities.
* Ensure processes are properly documented and standardized.
* Maintain a strong presence on the production floor while keeping a strategic overview of operations.

We are looking for a strong engineering professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment and has the drive to push improvements forward.
Education & Experience
* Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Bio-engineering or similar).
* Proven experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or operational excellence within a production environment.
* Demonstrated experience leading Lean or Continuous Improvement projects.
* Strong track record in waste reduction, efficiency improvement, or process optimization.
* Experience in coaching or leading engineers is a must.
Technical & Analytical Skills
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into improvement actions.
* Solid knowledge of Lean methodologies and structured problem solving.
* Experience working with automated production processes and complex manufacturing environments.
* You have a strong personality with the ability to challenge existing practices and drive change.
* Hands-on mindset: comfortable working close to production operations.
* You are a strong communicator.
* Fluent in French. Knowledge of English and/or Dutch is considered a strong asset.
