We are seeking a talented individual to lead our Mercer Marsh Benefits Business in Belux. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The MMB Leader will work with the local MMB team; as a Business Leader you will enable them and support their personal development. You will collaborate closely with the local Marsh and Mercer Leadership as well as with your international MMB peers. A key objective of the role is to grow sustainable revenue and to achieve our vision of market leadership in Health & Benefits including in the Life, Pensions and Workers’ Compensation spaces.
We will count on you to :
1. Be accountable for MMB BeLux’ financial planning and performance delivery.
2. Deliver on Revenue and NOI budget by driving revenue growth and managing costs.
3. Drive the identification, acquisition and retention of new and existing business opportunities to increase NOI.
4. Manage client revenue by ensuring profitable client relationships are formed and maintained through the service the clients receive.
5. Lead focused and disciplined business development activity in BeLux.
6. Ensure the complete breadth of the solution portfolio is utilised to increase cross selling throughout the market.
7. Collaborate with Marsh, Mercer and external partners to deliver integrated offerings.
8. Ensure that the best of MMB solutions are brought to clients across the BeLux market (e.g. Workplace Health Consulting, Darwin - and others)
9. Work with GBM management team to identify client segments with the greatest opportunity for new GBMs and any existing multi-national client where there is whitespace to convert in BeLux.
10. Ensure a robust Placement function is in place, and have a clear plan to accelerate growth and improve the value proposition for clients.
11. Drive strategy and development of commercial relationships with providers and insurers

What you need to have :
14. Significant business experience with a strong track record in a corporate, insurance or consultancy environment
15. Knows the BeLux Health & Benefits world and is known in that world
16. Effective communication and integration within client organisations and internal practices
17. Demonstrates examples of initiating thought leadership that drives commercial discussions around innovation projects and improves practice performance
18. Proven business development experience
19. Intellectual depth to translate concepts into reality and is a catalyst of ideas and change both internally and externally
20. People management and leadership skills.
21. P&L management skills and delivery of profitable growth
22. Proven change management skills
23. Strategic thinking and ability to understand current (and anticipate future) challenges and generate solutions
24. Strong leadership attributes including track record of creating highly effective teams
25. Ability to communicate in Dutch, French and English
