Role Overview
We are looking for a Cloud Technical Architect with strong expertise in Kubernetes to design, govern, and optimize cloud and hybrid platforms. You will act as Application Owner for Kubernetes-based platforms, ensuring end-to-end accountability across the full lifecycle, from design to decommissioning. You will work closely with technical architects, internal teams, and external partners to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions aligned with enterprise strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Application Ownership & Lifecycle Management
* Act as Application Owner for Kubernetes platforms and workloads.
* Ensure operational readiness, availability, security, compliance, upgrades, and decommissioning.
* Maintain clear ownership, documentation, and alignment with enterprise standards.
Architectural Leadership
* Translate business and IT strategy into scalable cloud architectures.
* Define and maintain cloud building blocks, standards, and reference architectures.
* Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise objectives.
Platform Optimization
* Continuously improve performance, reliability, and efficiency of Kubernetes platforms.
* Propose and prioritize platform enhancements based on business and operational needs.
Feasibility & Impact Analysis
* Lead feasibility studies with internal teams and cloud providers.
* Analyze architectural, operational, and financial impacts of changes.
Cost Management & FinOps
* Embed cost awareness in all architectural decisions.
* Apply FinOps principles to optimize cloud and hybrid consumption.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
* Provide expert technical guidance.
* Mentor team members and promote best practices.
Quality Assurance & Partner Management
* Review and validate deliverables from external partners.
* Ensure quality, compliance, and architectural alignment.

* Kubernetes Expertise: Design, operate, and optimize Kubernetes platforms.
