We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established international financial services organisation operating within the automotive finance and leasing sector. Due to growth, they are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant with strong Sofico / Miles exposure to join their Brussels-based finance team.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and manage Sofico / Miles transactions
* Participate in Month-End and Year-End close activities
* Support the preparation of annual consolidated statutory accounts
* Liaise with external auditors
* Reconcile overhead and foreign currency bank accounts
* Assist with statutory tax disclosures and notes
* Support Corporation Tax returns
* Handle ad-hoc financial analysis, investigations, and special projects
* Perform other duties as required by senior finance management
Key Requirements
* Hands-on Sofico / Miles experience (essential)
* Experience in accounts receivable
* Input VAT experience
* Basic Sales VAT knowledge
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
* Comfortable working in a regulated, structured finance environment
