Your responsibilities are
* Improve efficiency of filling lines by developing, managing and introducing a variety of improvement actions with as objective to increase productivity and quality of the output of the filling lines. You make an analysis of production processes and report about waste in quality and efficiency.
* Solve critical issues by analyzing root causes on the short term and make proposals for solutions on the long term in order to guarantee and optimize filling production and this by engaging and motivating team members and let them gain autonomy in their job roles.
* Check continuously the filling production processes in terms of quality, input, output, safety and ergonomic circumstances
* Make proposals, together with the production team and the team coordinator, of technical improvements and guarantee that the improvements are implemented with as objective to improve efficiency, quality, lead time and to maintain cost leadership. You make sure the proposals are in line with the operational excellence strategy. You are responsible for the improvement projects, both technical and organizational, from A to Z.
* Act as back up of the filling production manager in day-to-day activities of the department.

Profile
Studies and working experience
* Industrial engineering degree without experience or bachelor with experience
* Experience in a production environment
* Experience in project management is an asset
Technical skills
* Good knowledge of Dutch
* Knowledge of English / French
* Knowledge of TPM / Lean / Operational Excellence
* Knowledge MES system
* Knowledge MS Office / Excel
