Payments Technology & Operations Manager - Fintech - Antwerp

* Lead end-to-end payment operations, ensuring operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and optimal transaction performance.
* Oversee the payment and IT ecosystem (onboarding, KYT, transaction screening), proactively mitigating risks and ensuring business continuity.
* Drive automation and workflow orchestration initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control across business processes.
* Transform operational data into actionable insights through advanced reporting and performance monitoring.
* Act as a key liaison between Business and IT, ensuring seamless system integration, continuous improvement, and successful technology implementations.
* Serve as the functional owner of the Core Banking System (CBS), defining best practices, overseeing configurations, and leading release and regression management for the SaaS platform.
* Strengthen financial control frameworks by resolving complex reconciliation issues and optimizing treasury-related processes.
Profiel
* Strong background in payment operations with proven ability to diagnose and resolve operational issues
* Solid IT mindset with experience (or willingness to develop expertise) in workflow orchestration configuration and reporting environments
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience in payments, financial operations, or relevant IT roles
* Good knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
* Hands-on experience with APIs and webhooks is a strong asset
* Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment with high adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills
* Strong analytical thinking and structured approach
* Effective communication skills in Dutch and English, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
