Key Responsibilities of the junior underwriter: Monitor exposures using both reactive (automated alerts) and proactive methodologies. Review and assess trade credit risks across multiple sectors. Support the acquisition, retention, and renewal of credit insurance policies. Assist underwriters with visit preparations, credit limit decisions, and analysis of sensitive risks. Prepare reports and contribute to risk-based decision making. Liaise with buyers, clients, and brokers regarding credit limit requests and issues.
