For our Enterprise Business Unit (EBU), we are actively looking for a motivated Strategic & Public Sales Senior Manager.
In this role, you will develop and implement effective sales strategies both in the Belgian Enterprise Market (large national & strategic accounts, 1000+ FTE) as well as in the Public Sector. You will lead, inspire and motivate a sales team of account managers to maximize revenue and market share while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will align sales initiatives with the company's vision and objectives, contributing to its overall success and long-term sustainability.
Your responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive the sales and revenue growth of the company’s products and services and hence achieve and exceed sales targets. Set clear sales goals and objectives for the sales team.
* Responsible for anticipating and identifying strategic & public RFP’s. Work closely with internal teams to ensure value proposals meet the specific needs and highlight the company's strengths and capabilities. Develop strong relationships with decision-makers within enterprise & public entities to enhance the company's presence in the Belgian enterprise & public market
* Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members, fostering a high-performance culture. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Organize and lead sales meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback promptly. Develop and implement strategies for retaining and expanding the customer base.
* Monitor and analyze sales metrics, providing regular reports to senior management. Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track sales performance and forecast future sales.
* Stay informed about market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends. Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics accordingly.
* Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Monitor sales expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
* Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. Communicate sales performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management. Represent the sales department in cross-functional meetings and projects.
* Identify and implement new sales techniques and tools to enhance sales effectiveness. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the sales team. Encourage and support innovative ideas to drive sales growth.
Your profile
* University degree or similar through experience
* Proven experience in sales management in the enterprise sector (1000+ FTE) and/or in the Public Sector
* Minimum 10 years of People Management experience
* Good knowledge of the ICT/IT market, experience in the telco field would be a plus
* Excellent sales skills (listening, handling objectives, closing techniques, etc)
* Leadership skills, ability to build a team (encourage cooperation, manage conflicts, give recognition and delegate ), ability to drive a team towards the achievement of objectives
