As a result of the increase in its activities, Apheon is recruiting a junior ICT Assistant to join our ICT Team at the Brussels office. The position reports directly to the ICT Manager of Apheon.
We are looking for a solutions-oriented Junior ICT Assistant to join our team in Brussels. In this role, you will provide technical support across our European offices and you ensure reliability, efficiency and security of our IT infrastructure. You work closely with the ICT Manager to maintain and improve our systems, network and overall user experience.
Provide on-site and remote technical support for laptops, printers, phones and other peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance of IT systems.
Maintain and update IT security documentation and compliance records.
Collaborate with and report to the ICT manager to address complex technical issues and system improvements.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT policies, best practices, and security awareness.
Ensure adherence to company IT standards, data protection, and cybersecurity protocols.
Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support to employees across all Apheon offices.
Solid understanding of OSI model, TCP/UDP, VLANs; Security: Familiarity with antivirus programs and cybersecurity best practices.
You are an excellent team player with the ability to work independently when required.
You are fluent in English, plus French or Dutch.
