About the Role
Are you passionate about fostering strong vendor partnerships and driving commercial excellence? We're looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative
Vendor Negotiation Assistant
to support the execution and monitoring of commercial agreements across our key markets in Central Europe and the UK.
You'll work closely with our vendors, finance, marketing, and merchandising teams to ensure seamless implementation of negotiated terms. From coordinating promotional reimbursements and vendor contributions to managing month-end closings and stock write-off processes, your work will directly contribute to financial accuracy and business success.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Ensure all contracts and commercial terms are accurately finalized, signed, and archived in Synergee.
* Act as the central point of contact between Merchandising, Finance, and external vendors.
* Support and brief internal teams (Category Management, Supply Chain, Finance) on commercial terms.
* Coordinate monthly closings for CE and UK, including preparation of Vendor Income Files and tracking of additional negotiated funding.
* Engage with vendors to validate sales performance and promotional funding.
* Manage stock write-offs by overseeing data collection, deadlines, and execution meetings with stakeholders.
* Maintain documentation for compliance and audit readiness.
* Provide administrative support to the Senior Vendor Negotiator.
* Contribute to process improvements that enhance cross-functional collaboration and efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
* Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
* A solid understanding of vendor funding mechanisms and financial processes
* Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
* Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
* Background in retail, consumer goods, or finance-related functions is a plus
