Function descriptionAs a Quality Engineer will be responsible for theircontinual improvement, maintenance, and documentation in thequality management. You will support the business stakeholders withthe development of quality expertise and continuousimprovement. Together with theprocess owners (POL1), you are responsible for the continualimprovement, maintenance and documentation of all processes of theSoftware Unit according to the Corporate Quality Management System(QMS) processes. Have and maintain anoverview of the process and subprocess landscape. Support in makingthe QMS known as the "go-to" place for"how-to"-questions. You help to improvethe quality of our operations. You support the POL1 to identify theroot cause of quality issues, to work on a plan for improvement andensure implementation into the business processes (CAPAmanagement) You determine qualitystandards, methods and procedures to ensure that current qualitysystems are further optimized and, thus, meet requirements that arecontinuously becoming stricter. You are responsible for implementation and maintenance ofquality certifications (ISO9x, ISO27x,...) and regulatoryrequirements (GDPR, sustainability,...) by planning and executinginternal audits based on the Materialise internal audit plan and bythorough preparation and active participation in external auditsand by pro-actively identifying and analyzing needs regardingquality. You implement quality requirements according to businessneeds and cost of quality. Maintaindifferent external and internal contacts to ensure that efficiencyand collaboration are optimized. Stay well-informed about the evolutions related toquality and regulatory requirements, keep his/her knowledgeup-to-date within the context of new developments in order tostrengthen his/her credibility by offering a service that iscontinuously based on updated knowledge.
